Who we are
Mr. Pont is run by a private individual in Romania (“we”). You can write to us at contact@mrpont.ro.
The service
We publish tips and analysis for football matches, statistics on how they did and a free monthly contest. Tips are opinions, not guarantees: no tip is certain, and past results don't predict future ones. We aren't a bookmaker, we don't take bets and we don't handle money. The odds shown are indicative and may differ from those a bookmaker actually offers.
Access
Access is currently free. If we ever introduce paid services, we'll announce them in advance, with their price and terms, and we'll never charge you without your explicit agreement.
Your account
You can create an account only if you're over 18. Each person may have one account, with real details. Your account is personal: don't lend it, and keep your password safe. You see the tips once you've confirmed your email address.
What you may not do
Republish, resell or distribute the tips and analysis without our written consent; copy the site's content automatically; try to get around its security or disrupt how it works; use the site for anything illegal.
Liability
The decision to bet, how much and with which bookmaker is entirely yours. We aren't liable for losses resulting from using the tips or any information on the site. The site is provided “as is”: we work to keep it available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it runs without interruptions or errors, including in the data we receive from providers (matches, scores, odds). These limits apply as far as the law allows and don't exclude liability for intentional acts or gross negligence.
Notifications
Tips are sent to you by email or Telegram only if you choose so. You can stop them at any time in your settings, through the unsubscribe link or by sending /stop to the bot.
The contest
The monthly contest has its own rules, published on the Contest rules page, which apply together with these terms.
Intellectual property
The tips, analysis, texts and design of the site are ours. Team and competition names and crests belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
Suspending and closing accounts
You can delete your account at any time on the My account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date of the last update is shown above, and we tell you about important changes on the site or by email before they take effect. If you don't agree with them, you can delete your account.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If a problem comes up, write to us first at contact@mrpont.ro and we'll try to settle it amicably. Otherwise, disputes go to the competent courts in Romania.
