The organiser

The contest is organised by the person who runs the mrpont.ro website, a private individual in Romania (“the organiser”). Send any questions about the contest to contact@mrpont.ro.

Who can take part

Anyone over 18 with a confirmed mrpont.ro account who chooses a nickname and accepts these rules. Taking part is free and doesn't depend on any purchase or bet. The site's admins can't win prizes.

How to play

On each contest day, Mr. Pont picks three matches. You place one ticket a day, with one selection on each of the three matches, from the odds shown. The ticket's total odds (the three odds multiplied) must be at least 3.00. You can change your ticket until the day's first match kicks off.

The odds

The odds are taken automatically from a bookmaker licensed in Romania and are indicative. A ticket keeps the odds of the moment you sent it, even if they change later. Only bets that are decided automatically, from the score or from the match data our data provider sends, are offered: result, double chance, handicap, goals, both teams to score, correct score, halves, first and last team to score, corners and player bets (scorer, assist, shots on target, offsides). Corners, goal order and players appear only for competitions the provider sends that data for. A selection's odds are at most 25.

Results

Selections are decided automatically from the score after 90 minutes (extra time and penalties excluded) and the half-time score. Goal order, corners and player bets are decided from the match events and statistics our data provider sends. If the result lands exactly on the line (for example, 2 goals on “Over/Under 2”), the selection counts at odds of 1. A match that is postponed, cancelled, abandoned or still without a result 72 hours after kick-off counts at odds of 1, and so does a selection the match data can't decide for certain; the ticket carries on with the other matches. A ticket wins if none of its selections lost.

Corners and players

Corners, shots on target and offsides come from the match statistics, which include extra time, so such a selection counts at odds of 1 if the match goes to extra time. For scorer and assist bets only the goals of the 90 minutes count; own goals count for no player. If the player you picked doesn't come on, including when he isn't in the matchday squad, the selection is lost. First scorer is decided from the goals, even if the player came off the bench.

Standings

What counts is the number of winning tickets in the calendar month, Romanian time. On a tie, the player with the higher cumulative odds wins: the sum of the odds of their winning tickets. If that is level too, the players share the place.

Nickname

The public standings show only the nickname you chose, never your name or email address. Offensive nicknames, or ones that impersonate someone, are replaced by the admin. Everything else about your participation is handled under the Privacy policy.

Winners and prizes

A month's standings become final once all of its tickets are settled. The month's prize, if any, is announced on the contest page and goes to the player in first place; if several players share first place, they split the prize equally. Once the standings are final, the organiser contacts the winner at their account's email address.

Claiming the prize

The winner has 30 days from the date of the organiser's email to reply and claim the prize, giving the details needed to award it. A winner who doesn't reply within that time loses the right to the prize.

Fair play

Each person plays from one account. Multiple accounts, or exploiting errors on the site, mean exclusion from the contest.

Complaints

If you think a ticket was settled wrongly, write to contact@mrpont.ro within 7 days of the match. We check the match data and reply.

Changes to the rules

The organiser may change these rules, or suspend or end the contest, by announcing it on the contest page. New rules carry their own update date and must be accepted before your next ticket. Prizes for months already over are awarded under the rules in force that month.
